Neotropical Darners (Rhionaeschna):

There are only two Neotropical Darner species that have been found in Minnesota. The Blue-eyed Darner is a western species whose range has been expanding eastward into southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Spatterdock Darner has only been found at a couple locations in Eastern Minnesota and none have been seen for the past few years. There are still a few locations where they are found in Wisconsin
