Darner (Aeshnidae):

Members of the Aeshnidae Family (Darners) have large eyes that come together along a long margin making them appear to be wearing a helmet.

To help us determine the Genus and the species we must first look at the side of the thorax

Is the thorax plain green and unmarked ?
